On Saturday we got together as a family to have an Easter Eggn Hunt for the younger kids and to have a picnic. Brian and Alison and their family were in town so it was fun to be able to spend that time altogether. We went up to Kimberly's - not only because she has the most kids, but she also has the biggest yard. The older girls worked hard at hiding all of the eggs while the younger ones waited patiently inside.
Here's the older kids - can't believe how much they've grown - Kyle, Ashlie, Kellie, and Megan
They had so much fun trying to find the eggs. And let me tell you, the girls made it really hard to find some of them.
After the festivities we went up to the cemetary. It is always such a emotional experience to visit Kristine's grave. It's hard to believe it's been 6 months since she passed. It's a special experience to be there and to remember her life and her legacy.
Here is the gravestone. On the right side bottom corner it says, "Love you Mom". This is actually Katherine's handwriting that they had engraved into the stone.
Greg and Katherine sure miss her.
Katherine loves taking special care of her mother's gravestone and decorating it with flower petals.
Here we all are.
Of course we know how to have fun too.
