SPRING BREAK

Multnomah Falls, OR

We were sure looking forward to Spring Break this year. We really needed to go somewhere where there wasn't any snow still lingering on the ground. So we headed down to Oregon to visit Grandma and Grandpa Egan. On the way, we always pass right by Multnomal Falls and never stop, so this time we decided to hike it. The kids did great hiking the 1.2 miles up to the top. Even Haylie made it to the top without complaining. Afterwards, we headed to McMinnville, where Mike's parents just built a house on 80 acres. Although it rained for a couple of days while we were there it ended up being sunny and clear the rest of the time. The kids had so much fun riding the Kabota and four wheeler all around their property. Preston absolutely loves playing with their dog, Gunner (he really needs a dog of his own.) All of the girls (Me, Kellie, Ashlie, Grandma, Aunt Stephanie, Cousin Kenna, and Aunt Kristi),went to see the musical "Wicked". It was fabulous! I had seen it a few years ago when I was in New York, so it was fun to take the girls since they know all of the words to the songs. We also took a day and went to the beach. It was cold, (the Oregon Coast always is,) but the kids still played in the water and sand. Mike's brother brought a huge kite, and Kellie even took a go at it. We all could have stayed a few more days but it was time to get back to reality. It was a great trip.
