Haylie is at the age when she really wants to do her own hair. Both Kellie and Ashlie went through the same thing, except that I was more particular when they were little and wouldn't dare let them go out without me doing their doos. I am proud to say that I am much more relaxed with Haylie and feel it is a great way for her to express her creative side. I let her go to school like this, but had to take a picture. When I showed Kellie the picture later she asked, "They have crazy hair day in pre-school?" I told her unofficially, and she couldn't believe I let her leave the house like that. I do have to admit that this was a one time thing - so maybe I haven't relaxed that much.
