SKIING AT MOUNT SPOKANE

We spent most of our time going skiing this month. We are fortunate to live about 35 minutes away from Mt. Spokane Ski Resort, so Mike is bound and determined for us to get good use out of our season passes. We would take the kids and go up afterschool most every Friday and over the holidays. It was actually really fun this year because we got Haylie skiing by herself. We couldn't believe how fast she picked it up, and she's only 3 . I think it helped to have her older siblings ski the harder runs, and she didn't want to be left behind. Mike taught her by using a harness and when she said she wanted to go where Kellie, Ashlie and Preston were going he told her she had to ski on her own first. So the third time we took her skiing she did it. Skiing is so much better as a family when you can actually ski together. We had a great time.

Having a break in the Lodge. The kids think it's such a treat to have "Cup O'Noodles." They don't need much to make them happy.

Here we are at the top of the mountain.
